A celebrity moment

This is so cool! I can't take credit for finding it. My friend Anne-Marie posted it on her blog (http://www.anne-mariecarroll.blogspot.com/) and I'm a blatant copy cat. Back in the day, I used to get the Paula Abdul comment a lot, usually around last call and from men who'd had a little too much to drink. As for the others, I never would have guessed any of them. Give it a try yourself. It's free. Just go to http://www.myheritage.com/ Then leave a comment and tell me which celebs are hanging out around my blog.

Creative or Logical? Maybe Both?

Have you seen this yet? It's from Gizmo Watch. I discovered this yesterday while I was hiding from Sven. Yeah, notice there's no word count update? I thought you might. Tonight, I promise I will write! Not only will I write, but I will make up for all those words I didn't write yesterday and today.

Alright, back to this cool picture and why it's so cool. Click on the image, then stare at the woman's movement.
If she appears to be moving clockwise, the right (creative) side of your brain is more dominant. If you see her moving counter-clockwise, you're using more of the left (logical) side of your brain.

Some people can see her moving in both directions. Not me. But there's no surprise there. I've never been accused of being too logical. On the other hand, my creativity has gotten me into some interesting situations. But that's for another post, or maybe not.
So which way do you see her moving? How many logical people are reading my blog???
Ok ok, Sven. I'm going to work now. Right now. This second. As soon as I post this.

Sweatin' with Sven!

I'd rather be in Paradise (see below), but NO ... I'm sitting here at my desk sweatin' with Sven!

http://70daysofsweat.com/wordpress/archives/71

Yesterday I hammered out 1200 words, but today Sven's kicking my butt. I've managed to procrastinate in every way possible. Including starting this blog. LOL! A whopping 140 words of my current novel have made it from my head to my keyboard. Yep, it's going to be a late night!

I've also entered Karin Tabke's first line contest. Stop by her web site if you get a chance (the eye candy is well worth it!) and see how long I can hang in the competition. The contest is taking place on her blog. http://www.karintabke.com/
