I also liked a lot of the minor characters because they were as central to this story as Cassidy and Jared. The difficulties both Cassidy and Jared have to overcome make the ending so poignant. It's the little things

I just wanted to share my new bookmark for The Water Bearer. What is it about nifty paper products and office supplies that really gets the blood pumping?

WARNING: Understatement of the year approaching.

You've probably noticed I'm not much of a blogger. Ok, you can stop coughing and snorting now! So, given my incapacity for longwinded educational and entertaining blog posts, I've got to keep things simple around here or there'll be cobwebs in every corner. I'm going to be adding some weekly features, that will hopefully be fun for everyone who stops by. And if all goes as planned, I'll be doing that very soon.

I'm working hard to finish a cozy beachcomber mystery that will be out later this year, and I'm almost done with edits for some of my other contracted works. This is a new and exciting time for me, but I never realized how difficult it would be to keep my head above water.

Thanks so much for all of you who still drop by from time to time, even though I haven't given you much of a reason to in the past few months. I promise I'm going to start keeping up! SOON!!!

The Cowboy Rides Again!

WOO HOO! Another contest final! I just found out my novel, Cowboy Games, is a finalist in the 2007 Duel on the Delta contest!

Winners will be announced in March.

We'll see if it's another strike for Wendi Third Place Christner, or if I can bring home something a little higher. Either way, it's all good!
